a little about me
I'm a Pacific Northwest native with a soft spot for sunsets, a camera roll full of carefully curated albums, and my two cats, Lenny and Chanelle, who are convinced they deserve cheese every time my husband and I cook dinner. (They're not wrong.)
I grew up playing sports, fell in love with basketball first, and then soccer stole my heart. After college, two years in Quito, Ecuador rearranged my whole worldview in the best way. Now I'm on a mission to visit every U.S. national park.
Music is a huge pillar in my life and I cannot imagine a world without it. So are genuine connections with people — I think that's where life gets really good.
Professionally, I work in higher education in communications. The best part of the job are the student workers I get to work with. Helping young people navigate one of the most formative chapters of their lives, even in a small way, is where I find the most meaning in my work. Ask any of my friends, and they'll tell you to get a tarot reading from me. It's a skill I've developed that offers both insight and connection. And no, I can't tell the future. I can, however, make a mean plate of fish tacos — so either way, you're walking away with something good
